Ken Lux passed away peacefully in Myrtle Beach, SC, on Thanksgiving Day, November 24, 2016, at the age of 78. Ken was originally from Queens, New York. He is survived by his son, Eliah, and his brother, Peter, plus countless friends and admirers. As described in his book Meher Baba: Avatar of the Tortoise, Ken was named in a personal telegram from Meher Baba in 1968, addressed to the young workers whom he told to spread his message of Love. The telegram said: BY SPREADING THE MESSAGE OF MY LOVE YOU MY LOVERS WILL ONE DAY ENTER THE DOMAIN OF MY DIVINE LOVE [STOP] MY LOVE BLESSINGS TO YOU. The message was received just as Ken was working on a project with other Baba-lovers, and he felt it revealed Baba’s omniscience. Ken took the mandate to spread Baba’s message seriously and continued to give numerous presentations and talks about Baba through the years.
